Scott Coolbaugh

Scott is a local from the Reno/Tahoe area and attended UNR starting in 2017. He was always interested in economics, and after graduating in 2020, he knew he wanted to use that passion to help people in his community pursue their financial goals.

An aspect of the profession he values deeply is the opportunity to truly get to know each client. As a naturally curious person, he appreciates learning the intricacies of their lives and professions, gaining insight into what drives them and what they aspire to achieve. This deeper understanding helps shape their financial plan and supports a more balanced, sustainable approach to financial advising. A big responsibility of financial advising, in his view, is helping clients strike the right balance between enjoying life today, while thoughtfully planning and preparing for retirement in the future.

When he steps away from his desk, he often finds himself spending time outdoors exploring the Sierra Nevadas, watching sports, especially the Red Sox, cooking, and enjoying time with friends and family.
